While I’m celebrating gymnasts of color making the US Olympic team today (Gabby Douglas, Kyla Ross, as well as backups Elizabeth Price and Anna Li), I should also mention John Orozco, a Puerto Rican gymnast out of the Bronx, New York, who secured his spot on the men’s team yesterday. I can’t wait to see him in London and expect to see him on the podium with a medal around his neck and tears streaming down his cheeks.
